Arizona, yes, it is the Grand Canyon State. And the Canyon is remarkable, unfathomable, and well, grand.  I’ve hiked in and out several times and still have only seen a small part of the immense treasure.  But Arizona is also made up of small, quiet places of beauty.  To find these places, one needs only to travel the highways of our great state and be willing to pull off, look around, maybe walk down a trail. Finding beauty is rather effortless if you spend any time here, and you should.
I created three small paintings celebrating some of my favorite small, quiet places of Arizona.
