This painting was inspired by a visit to a dear friend’s garden here in the valley.  She is always faithful to call me at first light when she discovers something glorious is blooming on spring mornings. I am never disappointed by the bloom of an ‘Argentine Giant’, even better when there are two.  Like friends standing together in the morning light.
