My friend Deana and I found this beauty while tramping in the desert near Superior, Arizona. The light dancing on the blooms in the warm spring light was captivating yes, but the yucca is more than just a pretty face.
I mean you’re looking at the nice salad right here. Yucca blooms and berries are edible, some roots can be used to make soap, and some roots produce the foaming agent in root beer. So, wash your hands and come to dinner!
