Description
“Once Upon a Time” Arizona Roses 30×40 oil on canvas
When you read “Once upon a time,” you know a magical narrative is beginning. Imagine this painting is the first scene, and then you write the rest, including a happy ending.
Ironically these roses were painted from the Rose Garden at Mesa Community College (the Southwest’s largest rose garden)
I visited last April and walked peacefully through the garden (alone) until a nice boy in a golf cart kicked me out. The garden is still closed, but the roses will open. You can’t stop that, and besides, I asked you to pen a happy ending, and love is in the air. I smell roses. ♥️
